Format: the two lifts contested will be the snatch, and clean & jerk. Athletes are not allowed press out in any overhead portion of the lift, nor have any bodily limb other than the feet make contact with the floor. Each athlete will receive three (3) attempts in both lifts and their ranking per class will be based upon the total of their best two lifts. There will be three judges of which majority ruling determines each lift. Athletes must wait for the head judge to give the down signal before finishing a lift. The lifting platform is 4x4M, if an athlete goes beyond this boundary, the lift is disqualified. Coaches or athletes may make any request as to their next attempt, regardless of miss or make.
